Looking back at your first post (after deleting all the second issue stuff) I see that the answer is obvious: copy/paste of files has never been supported.

The log tells me nothing about (c), so I need to see that addressed. I can see in the log that clipboard functionality is enabled and set to bidirectional, so that eliminates (b). Since you are reporting problems with a Guest Additions feature it would make sense to be using current code. Your Guest Additions are installed (so suggestion (a) is eliminated), but slightly out of date (6.1.2). You also have the unofficial VNC extension pack loaded. These forums exist to support official builds only. You are not using VirtualBox, you are using an unofficial (Debian) third party build of the open sources. But I would like to add that, should you enable an X server on your system, you can do better than that: in the VirtualBox GUI, after highlighting your VM, go to Settings -> General -> Advanced, and you can set both Share Clipboard and Drag n Drop to the value 'Bi-directional', which I find especially convenient. Most Linux terminals use the Ctrl+Shift+C/V keys but if it doesn’t work for you, you may try other key combinations or configure the keys from the preferences of the terminal emulator.
